This is the fifth human member of our family; Bear.
He’s rambunctious, hyper, and lives in the city.
He’s our 2-year-old Yellow Lab. He’s very, very needy.
This is Leah. She’s sweet and shy, reserved, timid…okay, honestly, she’s a scaredy-cat.
Leah belongs to my mother and she lives out in the country. She, too, is very, very needy.
It’s a match made in heaven, really.
It’s always a stressful first few days as they get reacquainted….over and over…. Bear is not a gentleman. And, Leah, is, well, let’s just say she’s not a lady…more like a temptress. It’s rather embarrassing. For all of us.
But, oh, are they happy to see each other… Not even the snow, or the occasional dip in the frigid, cold waters of the front tank, could cool this torrid love affair.
I was a fool to ever leave your side
Me minus you is such a lonely ride
The breakup we had has made me lonesome and sad
I realize I love you
‘Cause I want you bad.
Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited ’cause we understood
There’s one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited
‘Cause we’re reunited.
