Our area of Texas was slow to feel the effects of our nation’s bad economy. It seems like over the last 6 months or so we’ve become more and more aware of the hardships befalling so many in our country.
We have quite a few friends who are out of work, or, who see the handwriting on the wall, and are desperately seeking new employment.
One of my dearest friend’s husband, Brett, is one of those folks. (If you know of any great job leads for a finance guy, please let me know!)
A Saturday ago, or so, I took some family portraits of Shannon and Brett, including their kids and the grandparents.
We had a great time in spite of the wind and chilly weather.
While they may possibly be about to embark on some tough times ahead, they were still able to have fun and laugh together.
It’s a firm belief of mine that a good daily dose of prayer and the frequent deep belly laugh can make a world of difference in your situation.
I do believe they are going to be okay, don’t you?
Laugh with and love one another, today.
